ESCAPE Pain is a free 6-week programme that uses exercise, education and strategies to help you increase your ability to exercise and manage your hip and knee joint pain better. Each programme consists of 2 sessions per week, for 6 weeks (12 sessions in total).
These programmes are for those who are over 45, with hip and knee pain which has lasted more than 3 months. The programme helps people understand their condition, teaches them simple things they can help themselves with, and takes them through a progressive exercise programme so they learn how to cope with pain better.
