Employment Vacancy – Facilities Coordinator

Age Concern Tyneside South (ACTS) is a registered charity which promotes the wellbeing of older people living in South Tyneside, improving their quality of life and helping them maintain their independence.
We are seeking a part-time Facilities Coordinator to provide effective coordination of ACTS community space. Working with other staff and volunteers, you will be responsible for ensuring the space is correctly set up for all internal and external groups including arranging furniture and setting up and storing equipment. You will also be responsible for inspecting the premises and carrying out minor repairs as well as routine Health and Safety checks.
We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role such as a caretaker and knowledge of health and safety is essential. You will be a good self-manager and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude. A willingness to work outside of office hours will sometimes be required.
