of 50. It is the largest voluntary sector organisation working with older people in the borough.
ACTS was established in 2016, building on the work of Age UK South Tyneside; our staff have more than 30 years’ experience of delivering what matters to older people in South Tyneside.
ACTS aims to change negative perceptions of ageing, ensuring older people are valued by society and that their needs are met.
ACTS has strong strategic partnerships and collaborations, locally and regionally, with the statutory and voluntary sector. These partnerships help us to help meet the needs of older people across South Tyneside.
