Wills and Lasting power of attorney

Future planning

Making your will and applying for a Lasting Power of attorney helps to remove stress for loved ones.
New research by leading life insurers, has found that one in two (50%) of UK adults don’t have a Will, with a third of over 55’s saying they do not have a Will in place.

Wills

A will is the only way that you can make sure your wishes are followed and your property, possessions and any investments go to the people or causes you want.

Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)

A lasting power of attorney is a legal form that gives someone you trust the authority to make decisions on your behalf if you are no longer able to make them yourself – or if you don’t want to.
There are two types of LPA: one for making financial decisions and another for making health and care decisions. You can set up LPAs for both types of decisions.
We understand it is not easy to have these difficult conversations however It is important to discuss these steps whilst you have mental capacity. Our trained advisors can help with this process and can complete the necessary forms.
